Multi-level exterior care
Finish work, glass, rails, detail areas, and protective care across complex layouts.
Mystic, Connecticut · Serving coastal CT & RI
Professional detailing, finish correction, and protection for yacht and boat owners who expect the work to match the vessel—personally overseen from assessment through final walkthrough.
Condition-led finish care
Paint, gelcoat, clear vinyl, metal, and non-skid do not respond to the same process. Superior Marine evaluates the vessel, tests the surface, and builds the plan around its actual condition—not a one-size-fits-all package.
Our approach
Core services
Each service approach is selected according to vessel size, substrate, exposure, existing protection, access, and the result you are working toward.
Scheduled exterior care designed to control salt, grime, environmental buildup, and seasonal wear.
02Surface preparation followed by marine wax or polymer protection for gloss, water behavior, and upkeep.
03Measured machine correction for dullness, oxidation, haze, staining, and loss of clarity.
04Preparation-intensive coating systems for owners seeking durable gloss and easier ongoing maintenance.
05Isinglass, clear vinyl, metal polishing, water spots, non-skid, and high-visibility detail work.
06Targeted cockpit, helm, cabin, teak, woodwork, seating, and high-touch surface care within an approved service plan.
Selected vessels
Large motor yachts, classic New England designs, sportfishing boats, and high-end center consoles each bring different surfaces, access, and finish expectations.
Finish work, glass, rails, detail areas, and protective care across complex layouts.
Care that respects dark hulls, painted surfaces, metal, clear vinyl, and traditional detailing.
Hull finish, non-skid, cockpit, helm, metal, seating, and recurring maintenance.
Visible transformation
This center-console reset shows the difference thorough detailing makes across non-skid, seating, helm areas, storage, and other high-use cockpit surfaces. Use the slider to compare the same space before and after the service.
Actual condition and achievable results vary by material, age, prior care, and permanent wear.

Owner-led product knowledge
Superior Marine’s approach is built on hands-on product knowledge, test work, and clear maintenance guidance. Chase has also led boat-owner demonstrations on product selection, polishing, and preserving a maintained finish.
That same mindset carries into every quote: understand the condition first, then recommend the least aggressive effective process.
The goal is to understand the surface first, then choose the least aggressive effective process.
The process
Good finish care is equal parts technical judgment, disciplined preparation, organized execution, and communication about what the surface can responsibly achieve.
Location, access, dimensions, material, condition, and goals.
A defined plan with the service areas and expected result made clear.
Decontamination and test spots before committing to correction.
Methodical work with surface-specific products, pads, and tools.
Final protection, detail inspection, and maintenance guidance.
Mobile marina service
On-site service is available at marinas, boatyards, approved private docks, and storage locations throughout the region.
Additional locations may be available based on vessel size, project needs, access, and scheduling. Scheduled projects have extended west to Old Saybrook and east to Newport.
